Napton on the Hill Easy to Moderate Ramble
Overview
At the request of many regulars Steve is doing some more easy to moderate rambles. The pace will be the same but we will walk a bit further.
This ramble is from the lovely South Warwickshire village of Napton on the Hill.
The walk is approx 6 miles and uses some lovely countryside as well as part of the Oxford canal. We start in the village and walk east to Upper Shuckburgh and Shuckburgh hills.
There are some gradients but nothing too strenuous. After passing through Lower Shuckburgh we join the canal, passing Napton Junction, where the Grand Union canal branches off and Napton Marina.
Location & Itinerary
As usual Steve will find somewhere to eat after the ramble
