Join your fellow Spicer’s for this wonderful weekend on the banks of the River Thames with a 2 or 3 night option hosted by Pam & Jackie
We will be staying at Bisham Abbey in a lovely location and we also have access to the NATIONAL SPORTS CENTRE where many top athletes' and team train.
Enjoy rounders, BBQ on the bank of the Thames on the Friday, Bed and full breakfast for 2 or 3 nights with use of a fabulous gym, squash courts plus a 30 minute ride on self drive boat in groups of 6 or 8 all included
There is also the opportunity to book water sports on Friday afternoon or the Saturday plus some wine tasting in the afternoon at a nearby vineyard or you may prefer to go in small groups to have a wander around Marlow for a walk along the river and Higginson Park , and have a look at the shops, maybe stopping for lunch or refreshments somewhere
Saturday evening we have arrange a Riverboat Disco with a 2 course Hot buffet and Dessert followed by a fabulous walk on Sunday in the Chilterns Hills from the beautiful village of Hambledon and an optional Lunch at the Stag & Huntsman Pub
If you wanted to stay on the for the 3rd night on Sunday we will arrange somewhere to go for drinks and dinner in the lovely town of Marlow.
All the optional sports and activities will be available to book via Spice nearer the time.

The area all around Marlow is rich in archaeology. There were Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age settlements just to the west of the town and Iron Age hill forts at Danesfield and Medmenham, Roman villas have been found at Hambleden, Mill End and Hurley. The centre of the town has been settled since the Saxon period at the latest, and for most of that time Marlow, an inland port, was one of the more important towns in the area.

1pm Meet in the Sports centre cafe for a drink or light lunch*

3pm Check IN
Rounders , squash, gym or try your hand at some of the Water sports or take a leisurely self drive boat along the River Thames in groups of 6 or 8
6pm Meet in the bar from 6pm in our own private venue
7pm Party Night with a Delicious BBQ
Dancing until late at the Disco
Saturday 30th August
9-9.30am Meet the group for a Full English Breakfast
Then make use of all the facilities
Water sports* or take a leisurely self drive boat along the River Thames in groups of 6 or 8
Book a Tennis or Badminton Court*
Lunch is available in the Cafe in the Sports centre or
Go into Marlow Town for a stroll along the River and park or browse around the shops.
Maybe stop for lunch or refreshments somewhere*
Or perhaps you may prefer to book onto our optional Wine Tasting Tour *at a local Vineyard
7.30pm Board a River Boat Disco serving a 2 course Hot Buffet from Bisham Abbey
Dance the night away as we sail along the River Thames
11.30pm Boat Returns

8-9am Meet the group for a Full English Breakfast
9.30am Check Out if staying 2 nights
10.00am Chiltern Hills walk for a few hours
or a gentle stroll around the beautiful village of Hambledon
Optional Sunday Lunch* is Booked at The Stag & Huntsman
6pm Meet the group to go into Marlow for a stroll dinner and drinks*

Travel & Stay
Each bedroom features a flat screen TV and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a room service option for guests who would like to dine in their room.
There is a selection of rooms specially adapted for disabled guests. Wireless internet access is also available for all resident guests. There are also 6 EV charging points available on site.
Guests benefit from complimentary use of the sports facilities including the gym and squash courts (subject to availability).
Breakfast is served in the Engine Room Restaurant
Convenient access to the M4, M40. Rail links from London to High Wycombe and Maidenhead (15mins away). Marlow town centre a short walk away for local shops, bars and restaurants.
Bisham Abbey is also ideally located for nearby Henley, and just a 20 minute drive from Windsor Castle
