Overview
Tonight, we are back at Turtle Bay at Salford Quays. The feedback was great the last time we visited, fabulous food with a Carribean Twist and a lively atmosphere.
We are choosing from their Carribean Christmas menu picking either 2 or 3 courses which also includes a festive cocktail on arrival.
Arrive earlier than our table booking time of 7pm if you want to get 2 4 1 cocktails from the bar before the offer finishes.

STARTERS
- Jerk Pit Wings: Fresh chicken wings, marinated homemade rub, chargrilled, & topped with fiery jerk gravy
- Trini Doubles: Trinidad & Tobago street food - soft bara roti topped with curried chickpeas & cucumber chutney
- Sweetcorn Fritters: Crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside - sweetcorn, onion, & chilli fritters, topped with mango mole
- Garlic Pit Prawns (£1 Supplement): Inspired by Jamaican pepper prawns - whole king prawns, chilli & garlic butter with grilled roti
- Crispy Chilli Squid (£1 Supplement): Strips of squid, marinated, crumbed & crisped, with mango mole & mild jerk mayo
MAINS - Marinated for 24 hours in Turtle Bay's aromatic spice rub, fire-grilled & basted to bring out the unique flavours and served with either coconut rice & peas or spiced fries
- Jerk Chicken Half: Smoky, chargrilled half chicken covered in rich jerk gravy, with hints of thyme, allspice, & scotch bonnet
- Jerk Chicken Breast: Smoky, chargrilled half chicken covered in rich jerk gravy, with hints of thyme, allspice, & scotch bonnet
- Mo’Bay Chicken: Chargrilled chicken breast topped with a mildly spiced, creamy sauce, & served with sweet plantain
- Vegan Jerk “Chicken”: Marinated plant-based “chicken” breast, chargrilled & topped with rich jerk gravy. Served with pineapple chow
- Jerk Salmon (£1 Supplement): Pan-fried for a crispy skin & smothered in own-recipe jerk gravy, with a zing of lime
- Trini Curry Prawn (£1 Supplement): Juicy prawns in a creamy and mild coconut, mango, & garlic sauce
- Curry Goat Hash: Rich classic curry goat, mashed spiced fries, topped with crispy fried eggs & pickled veg
- Jamaican Run Down: Chef Collin’s slowly simmered butternut squash, sweet potato, & coconut stew. With rice & peas
- Trini Curry Chicken: Marinated chicken thighs with a tropically sweet mango, coconut, garlic, & chilli sauce
PUDDINGS
- Poached Pineapple: Fresh pineapple slowly poached in pineapple rum, cinnamon, & coconut. Served with coconut ice cream
- Chilli Chocolate Brownie: Made to an indulgent recipe with rich vegan cocoa & a hint of natural spice. Served with coconut ice cream
- Banana Toffee Cheesecake: Sweet, creamy & decadent cheesecake – this is banoffee on another level
- Ice Cream: Choose any 3 scoops of deliciously creamy ice cream. Flavours include, vanilla, coconut& salted caramel
The nearest Metrolink Stations are at The Imperial War Museum and Media City UK which are both a 0.2 mile (4 minute walk) away. Additionally there is a bus stop at Media City UK.
