Overview
Set on the banks of the River Thames, the Mill at Sonning Theatre has been entertaining for over 40 years! It is the only dinner theatre in the United Kingdom, and has gained unrivalled praise both nationally and internationally.
The bar is open at 6pm, dinner is served from 6.15pm. The auditorium opens at 8pm, with the show starting at 8.15pm and finishing at 10.40pm.

White Christmas
Irving Berlin’s classic Broadway musical based on the beloved film. This heartwarming show follows two World War II veterans as they team up with a sister act to save a local inn and discover the true meaning of Christmas. Filled with so many memorable songs including “Blue Skies“; “Sisters“; “How Deep is The Ocean” – and of course “White Christmas“.

The service for the main course is buffet style, but we have a reserved table and desserts are delivered to our table. The food is always freshly prepared and delicious with a good choice. We can also return to the table in the interval for coffee/ drinks. The Waterwheel Bar is also open before and after the show.

We have ample car parking space available for customer use.
BY RAIL The Mill is a 10 minute taxi ride from Reading, Twyford, Earley and Wargrave stations
ARRIVAL Once parked in our on-site car park with ample car parking available, make your way to the main entrance where you will find the Box Office. There you will find a sign with the lead bookers surname (Whyte) and table number on - take note and head inside!
RIVERSIDE BAR Upon entering from the Box Office, you will be able to take advantage of the gorgeous Waterwheel Bar where you are welcome to enjoy some pre-dinner drinks. The bar opens at 6pm for evening shows.
RESTAURANT When ready to begin your meal, make your way upstairs to the buffet area, grab a plate and help yourself to our delectable food offering! At the end of the buffet table, you will be greeted by one of our friendly staff members who will guide you to your table where a complimentary programme and your theatre tickets await you! The rest of your dining experience is waiter serviced; and our waiting staff will take your drinks, dessert, coffee, and interval drink orders. Dinner is served from 6.15pm.
THEATRE At 8pm you will be invited to take your seats in the auditorium. During the interval, you may return to your table for interval drinks and/or coffee, evening performances start at 8.15pm.
ENCORE Following the performance the bar is open.
