Location & Itinerary
Do you love stunning countryside, great company and either love horse or want to find out if you do? Then yes, this is a faboulous weekend to do.
There are two options for the weekend both of which are great fun and offer great value for money.
Standard Option:
Included in the price of the weekend is a picnic ride on the Saturday of around 3 hours as we go out into the beautiful countryside with far reaching views across the hills and valleys.
On the Sunday morning we use our final session to go out in to the stunning countryside once more for another hack.
Day Ride Option:
Saturday Included in the price of the weekend is a day ride for experienced riders on the which includes 4 hours or more of riding including galloping/cantering in the beautiful hills & moorland and also incorporating a pub visit (lunch at additional cost) or we can take a picnic lunch though the pub normally wins hands down!
On the Sunday morning we use our final session to go out in to the stunning countryside once more for another hack.
If you haven't ridden on this weekend with us before and we therefore do not know if you can control the horse at a fast pace, then you will need to do an assessment ride on the Saturday morning to ensure you aren't over faced with the day ride option.
For those who are really keen there is the option to book and pay directly for a further ride on the Friday or Sunday afternoon. However, for those who don't ride very often, you might find an extra ride a bit too much!
Food and Meals
Included in the weekend is a buffet meal on Friday evening, a cooked breakfast, buffet lunch and evening meal on Saturday and a continental breakfast & buffet lunch on Sunday.
This is a self catering venue so help with food preparation and of course cleaning up afterwards is all part of the weekend - please be prepared to muck in even if you aren't prepared to muck out!
