Walking with Linda : Hendon 8 Mile walk with Hendon RAF museum visit.

Join Linda for this 8 mile walk.

Please meet at Hendon railway station, on the pavement outside the station front, at 09:50am ready to depart at 10:00am. 

The walk is flat and will take us through parkland and alongside Brent Reservoir to "the biggest jigsaw puzzle in the world" where we will dwell for 15 minutes to have a look round.

We'll then walk along back streets, through playing fields and alongside the Silk Stream to Colindale and on to The Beaufort pub for lunch (at your own expense).

After lunch, we'll visit the RAF Museum where they have over 100 aircraft on site including the earliest gliders, the WW1 planes and modern planes like the Eurofighter Typhoon. 

You can treat yourself to afternoon tea if you wish, in the café based within the museum grounds, before we catch our trains home.

You can then choose a 10 minute walk to Colindale tube station or a 25 minute walk to Mill Hill Broadway main line railway station to catch your train home.

Please bring drinking water, money to buy lunch and any other snacks you may want. 

Please dress for the weather on the day (and bring a golfing umbrella if it is expected to rain!).
