Continuing our series of dining out on the east side of London, join us for dinner at Onyx Restaurant in Hornchurch.
This is a "luxury, fine dining" family-owned, Italian restaurant in the heart of Hornchurch. Their Head Chef has incorporated his love and passion for food to create an authentic Italian menu and they have a live singer each Friday and Saturday evening.
The menu includes pasta, risotto, ravioli, burgers and salads with meat, fish, seafood, vegetarian and vegan options.
Starters are £4-£14, Mains are £12-£45 and Sides are £5-£8. Desserts are £5-£9.

They have a range of beers (bottled plus a couple on tap), cider, wines, spirits, shots, cocktails, mocktails, smoothies and soft drinks.
On the night you just pay for your own food, drinks and the relevant service charge and your host will deduct your £10 deposit off your bill. The restaurant accepts cash and card.

Onyx Restaurant is an 10 minute walk from Hornchurch station (District line). If driving, it should be possible to park for free on Mavis Grove, opposite the restaurant, or there is a large car park in Dorrington Gardens (access to Station Road is via an alleyway) and a small car park on Appleton Way. Both car parks are a flat fee of £2 after 6pm, although you may need the RingGo app to pay.
