Overview
Today we visit Italiana Fifty Five on Liverpool Road to try out their set lunch menu.
Describing themselves as a soulful, authentic and independent Neapolitan concept in the heart of Manchester.
Our friendly host will be there to meet you and will introduce you to others on the event and we will be choosing from the set menu on the day.
After lunch, if anyone fancies it, we can have a mooch around the Christmas Markets.

We will be ordering from the 2 course set lunch menu on the day - please find a sample menu below:
Starters
- Bruschetta Al Pomodoro - cherry vine tomatoes, pesto & basil served on toasted home made bread
- Insalata Caesar - charred chicken, kos lettuce with gran padano shavings & croutons
- Calamari - lightly battered fresh squid rings with a tartare dip
- Mozzarella La Fritta - deep fried, breaded Buffalo mozzarella with a bread crumb crust made of sun-dried tomata & parsley
- Pate - duck & chicken liver pate served with cranberry compote and toasted bread
- La Burrata - burrata (special Mozzarella) with cherry tomatoes & Cibo Italiana's famous, home made caramalized balsamic vinegar (£2 Supplement)
Mains
- Ravioli Aragosta - homemade raviolie lobster in a lobster bisque with a touch of chilli (£2 Supplement)
- Risotto Fungi - wild mushroom risotto topped with parmesan shavings
- Pizza Prosciutto E Funghi - mozzarella, tomato, ham & mushroom
- Filetti Di Branzino - pan fried Anglesey farmed sea bass fillet, parsley & lemon on a bed of spinach
- Raviolli Dispinaci - egg ravioli filled with ricotta & spinach in a butter and sage sauce
Today we are visiting Italiana Fifty Five, Liverpool Road (not the one in the Great Northern) - the restaurant is situated not far from the junction of Liverpool road and Deansgate fairly close to the Hilton Hotel (Beetham Tower). The nearest Metrolink stop is Deansgate Castlefield which is a 3 minute (0.2mile) walk.
