Sundown Picnic & Quiz on the Downs
Overview
It is 150 years since the Clifton and Durdham Downs (Bristol) Act, 1861 secured the Downs as a place of recreation for us all - forever. The Downs have an extensive and dramatic landscape, yet is so close to the centre of Bristol. They are regionally important places for geology and geomorphology, as well as being great for walking, picnics, exercise and spotting wildlife.

Meet your host, Janet, by the Cafe on The Downs, Stoke Road, Durdham Downs at 6.30pm There is free parking on the roads nearby. Don't forget to bring a folding chair (or picnic blanket) and food/drinks of your choice. Janet will have a paper quiz for you and there will be prizes.
