Overview
Six by Nico's concept is a Six course tasting menu that changes every six weeks and we haven't been disappointed by their offerings yet!
This time we have booked First Access for Tokyo and we understand that this means we get a glass of Fizz and a Snack on arrival as a bonus - fingers crossed!
Travelling on a research trip to Tokyo, Nico and team were able to find a bounty of inspiration for these dishes which have been adapted and curated to celebrate Japanese food and ingredients, to our tasting menu concept.
From dishes inspired by Chicken Karaage to our take on the classic Ramen, each course makes for the perfect journey to the next course.

Wine Matching: They do a wine matching that you can order directly on the day should you wish which is currently priced at £33 but please remember the 12.5% service charge needs to be applied to that.

- Course 1 Chicken Karaage: Crispy Thigh, Togarashi, Oroshi Shoga Ginger
- Course 2 Tempura: Crisp Enoki Mushroom, Pickled Daikon & Ponzu
- Course 3 Okonomiyaki: Pork & Prawn Pancake, Okonomi Sauce, Japanese Mayonnaise
- Course 4 Ramen: Miso Sea Bass, Tokyo Turnip, Shimeji Mushroom, Egg Yolk Jam & Kombu Dashi
- Course 5 Tonkatsu: Panko Pork, Glazed Belly, Cabbage, Hokkaido Pumpkin & Yakitori Ham Jam
- Course 6 Strawberry Candy: White Chocolate, Matcha Cake, Candy Strawberry
Six by Nico Manchester is situated in Spring Gardens in Manchester Town Centre.
It is a 6 minute walk from the St. Peter's Square Metrolink Station and a 12 minute walk (0.6 Miles) from both Victoria and Piccadilly Stations.
Please Note: Six by Nico have just opened up a further venue in Manchester on John Dalton Street/Deansgate - please be sure not to go to this one, we are at the original Six by Nico at Spring Gardens
