Baddesley Clinton Moderate walk
Overview
This delightful and varied 8 mile route shows Warwickshire at its pastoral best. Pretty villages, charming pubs, quaint churches and quirky locks on the canals.
The route takes in Kingswood, Lapworth, Hockley Heath, Packwood and sections of the Grand Union canal with its impressive flight of locks at Kingswood.
There are no steep hills, and the going is good underfoot with very few boggy areas.
We will stop in Hockley Heath at the Wharf Inn for lunch.
We are likely to be out for 4 hours.
Toilets: At start for NT members. There are toilets at our lunch stop.
Equipment: The route is well drained in most places and good underfoot, normal walking shoes or boots should be fine. Dogs will need to be on a lead for all of the walk.
