Black Country Beer Bus and Curry
Overview
We have had several requests to repeat this, so here it is…
These are great, fun social events and different to the usual Saturday night out.
The evening starts at 7pm when the bus picks us up in the centre of Birmingham (Colmore Row) with all its transport links) and takes us around the Black Country visiting 4 pubs.
Following feedback from last time we are opting for a curry for the food pub.
The plan for the pubs are to have a couple of ale pubs, the curry pub as the second stop and a disco / karaoke at the last pub.
There is a fully stocked bar on the bus.
At approximately 11.15pm we will leave the last pub to return back to Birmingham.
Note: We have asked for the pubs to real ale pubs but this can’t be
guaranteed. They will all serve beer though (and of course many other drinks!).
Drinks on the bus: The drinks whilst on the move are £3 each or 4 for £10, all
done by raffle tickets.
Host & Everything Else
Overall it was really good, I think there should have been a warning that drinking too much can lead to a little bit of a hangover the next day though :). It was a really fun evening and a great chance to meet more of the Spice WM group.
The event was a lot of fun. The hostess on the bus was entertaining and hospitable, the drinks were really cheap. The pace of the evening was just right, long enough on each pub for us all to get a drink and have a chat. The disco and dad dancing was a lot of fun. The singing on the bus on the way home was hysterical! I thoroughly enjoyed the event and would definitely do it again!
