Christmas Illuminations at Ashridge House, Hertfordshire

A winter wander, filled with wonder. It’s the most magical time of the year, and Ashridge House will once again illuminate the beautiful private grounds this Christmas. This year the illuminations will be even more spectacular as we have sprinkled a little fairy dust and created a world of wonder for you to enjoy in our glorious gardens.

The event offers guests the perfect woodland escape, sharing some much-needed festive fun. As the light falls, see the magical light installations bring the sparkling gardens and grounds to life; enter The Enchanted Woodland Walk via the Italian Gardens entrance and follow the trail to our illuminated wonderland. 

The Feasting Forest will be available at the start of the trail, offering a range of food & drink.

The Courtyard Cafe will be available at the end of the trail and will be offering delicious festive treats and casual dining. As well as the glittering light trail, there will also be a festive food and drinks village so you can start the evening with a delicious winter warmer.

The new designers, Luminism, created the very first light trail in the UK fifteen years ago; bringing the joy of Christmas to millions of people across the country. This year they will be sprinkling their magic across Ashridge House for the first time.
