British Fine Dining at The Boat Inn
Overview
As recommended in the Michelin Guide, the Boat Inn is the only award winning restaurant in Staffordshire that holds 3AA rosettes. With a modern British menu, we can expect fine dining with a twist in a beautiful and relaxed atmosphere.
Liam Dillon, who recently competed in the Great British Menu, is a young local chef who has won numerous awards in a short space of time. He was awarded 'Best Chef' at the Midlands Food Drink & Hospitality Awards as well as 'Best Independent Restaurant' by the Taste of Staffordshire Awards.
The restaurant has been recently transformed to include their very own flourishing polytunnel outside as well as their own in house hens. This means we can expect exceptionally local ingredients, prepared in their open plan kitchen by chef Liam and his team.
For our special lunch today we can choose from either two or three courses with the option of adding any side dishes if required.

· Black bomber cheese souffle, crispy shallot & forced dandelion

· Roast chicken breast, roast maitake mushroom, mushroom puree & charred sea leek
· South coast plaice Wellington, tenderstem broccoli, brown shrimp & caper sauce
· Cotswold lamb, crispy belly, Lichfield asparagus, salsa verde & tongue sauce
Desserts
· Strawberry mousse, Lichfield Strawberries & sheeps yoghurt sorbet
