With panoramic views stretching as far as the Isle of Skye, Gairloch Hotel overlooks Gairloch Bay and offers a spectacular window to Wester Ross and the Northwest Highlands. From the famed local beaches of Big Sand and Redpoint, to the varied wildlife and opportunity to encounter whales and dolphins offshire, nature lovers will have plenty to get their teeth into.

Location & Itinerary
It's a social, walking and whale watching weekend so we'll be busy.
Some of the finest walking is on our doorstep and we'll have a walk on the Saturday and Sunday. Depending on interest we will also have a very special whale watching boat trip option on each day (this is an optional extra, full details will be advised nearer the time but our skipper has advised costs in the region £80 pp for a 4 hour trip). You can do it once or even go again the next day! There will also be local places to visit too. A full detailed itinerary will be advised later next year.
Travel & Stay
Nestled beside Gairloch Bay, The Gairloch Hotel overlooks several quiet, secluded beaches, as well as offering spectacular views of the world famous Isle of Skye. Surrounded by a landscape rich in wildlife with unspoilt shores, lochs and mountains, The Gairloch Hotel provides a perfect base for holiday makers to take in some of the most beautiful scenery to be found in Britain.
With 72 bedrooms, as well as a restaurant and lounge bar, guests can enjoy a calendar of live entertainment on site, alongside all the tranquillity associated with the beautiful scenery of Wester Ross. Raasay, and the Western Isles.
We will be staying for 3 nights in twin, double and single en suite rooms with dinner and breakfast included each day.

Gairloch 5 hour drive from Scotland's central belt.
By Air
Nearest airport is Inverness and car hire recommended from here.
By Rail
Memorable rail trip from Inverness to Achnasheen ( on way to Kyle of Lochalsh) with local bus connection to Gairloch (check bus timetables beforehand to make sure it's viable).
We are keen to arrange lift shares from the central belt if at all possible to help with fuel costs for drivers and company on the long journey. We'll liase with everyone booked nearer the time.
