Mid-Week Walk: Turton and Entwistle Reservoir
Overview
A walk of great variety and charm that circumnavigates the pleasant Turton & Entwistle and Wayoh Reservoirs. Total ascent is a very moderate 725 feet (220m), yet due to the elevated location of these reservoirs, the views are panoramic. Not only that, but wildlife abounds here and the walk passes by one of the rarest grassland habitats in the UK. Please bring sandwiches to keep you going on the way round as we will be stopping for a picnic lunch, and as ever, don’t forget to bring your walking boots.
Extras
