Worcester Hot air balloon festival 2023
Overview
Come and join us at Worcester hot air balloon Festival. It’s the first time Worcester has hosted this event.
“It is guaranteed to be an amazing spectacle.” With more than 40 balloonists.
The festival starts late afternoon with plans for an “evening balloon ascent” followed by a hot air balloon “night glow”.
The night glow involves the balloons being illuminated like lanterns as they are choreographed to music, organisers say. It will finish with fireworks before closing at 11pm.
Throughout the day, there will be opportunities to get up close and personal with the balloons and their pilots.
The grand finale will be the mass balloon ascent, with all of the pilots set to take to the skies before another balloon glow and fireworks display.
